The Tao of Law 2.0 – The Texas Courts Survival Guide

Texas How to… the “Docket Call”

This Chapter of the new traffic seminar book goes into the detailed “how to…” of handling the fictitious “docket call” proceeding that the lower courts have concocted and use to waste your valuable personal time, lose time from work, and basically cost you more in time and money in an effort to make you fold rather than fight when you receive a “uniform traffic citation.”

This information is accurate and up-to-date at the time of this writing, so you can rely on it for at least the next two years. However, be aware that legislative actions can be implemented at designated times throughout the time between legislative sessions, so it is always best to verify any statutory references with what is currently in publication in your state.

Here in Texas you can find the current versions of all state statutes on the Texas Legislature’s web site located here.

  1. Nice one, Eddie. Great format, presentation and content.

    But, Shakespeare said that…?

    One thing I think people won’t generally be prepared for, and this is partly intended to shake people up, partially because they get their jollies, is the intensity the prosecutor can muster to browbeat you. Is it sensible/possible to come in with prepared charges against the prosecutor in hand, to file right then and there?

    BTW: bottom pg 6 “quire->”quite”

    • Thank you for the comment. As to the “quire,” that has already been corrected in the original document, but the updated version has not been posted yet. Thank you for that as well.

  2. As I ,on this coming Monday, July 24th, at 1:45, have to go to this “docket call” for my own bit of being subjected to “the rack”, “the thumb screws”, or the “Iron Maiden”, as the “Faux Persecutor”, yes, I said it;, the Faux Persecutor, will go through his as yet unknown gyrations of arm twisting, and head locks, to browbeat me, and intimidate me into some as yet unknown “deal” behind door # 3, I am ABSOLUTELY GENUINELY GRATEFUL, Eddie, for this bit of prep for me to memorize to be instantly ready to pary each thrust of the Faux Persecutor’s sword, and I will use this verbatim. Thank you Eddie!!!

  3. This is going to be an excellent addition to your other seminars! There’s so much incredible information included in there that it will keep you busy learning how to protect yourself and fight the corruption/extortion/harassment. This small packet got me really excited for this new seminar to be released so I can purchase it.

    Keep up the good work, Eddie! Thank you for sharing this information in such a clear and easy to understand manner. I am starting to get a really good foundation of this information. I feel like I would already be a monster if I had citation/offense/something to fight but I know I’ll feel even more confident after another couple of months of researching/studying.

    Thank you again for everything you continue to do too help teach us this information.
